Garlands = Mt. Everest and those ghostly Tibetan prayer flags.  But now I see garlands are also inside inventions, not always meant to flap.  And not just for hippies to divide rooms in that I-don’t-believe-in-dividing-space kind of way.  They’re pretty little messages to your walls not to despair.
